I found out that if I don't install the AHCI driver3.1.1540.10, this issue would not occur. How do I resolve this issue?

Q

I was informed that this motherboard starts to support Intel Q9300 CPU since BIOS version 1007 so that I purchased this CPU and upgraded BIOS. The CPU was successfully recognized by the system, but I found myself unable to log into Windows OS. The system always gives me a blue screen when it loads the OS. However, I was able to log into OS under safe mode so I uninstalled all the drivers under safe mode, and then installed them one by one under normal mode. The same problem occurred right after VGA driver is installed. Changing the VGA driver doesn't seem to resolve the issue. In addition, this issue does not happen with previous BIOS. How do I resolve this issue?

A

Please upgrade BIOS to version 1008 or later to patch this issue. [GO]
