The Fastest Card on the Planet! - FIRST LOOK AT SAPPHIRE LATEST TOXIC X1950.

Now adding silent cooling to the highest levels of graphics performance ever achieved in the PC industry, Sapphire Technology has just introduced a new TOXIC water cooled version of its X1950XTX and a Limited Edition TOXIC CrossFire card.

Fastest Card on the Planet!
The exciting new SAPPHIRE TOXIC X1950XTX is the new top performing graphics accelerator from Sapphire.  Shipping with the product is the A.P.E. – Automatic Performance Enhancer - which uplifts the core clock speed to 695MHz making the card the fastest card on the planet! The highly efficient cooling system also will allow enthusiasts to further enhance performance by overclocking with other tools.

Together with the Limited Edition TOXIC CrossFire Edition, which has the same core and memory speeds, the ability to run overclocked dual GPU configurations offers previously unachievable CrossFire performance.

FEATURES :
 Overclocked with A.P.E: 3D clocks: 695Eclk / 1000 Mclk (instead of 650/1000)
 512 MB GDDR4
 Dual DVI-I and VIVO
  Highly overclockable
  Silent & Performance Mode
  Self contained watercooled system
  Easy Installation

Liquid Cooled!
Taking up a single PCI slot in addition to the PCI-Express slot occupied by the graphics card, the TOXIC cooler is a sealed and low noise water cooling solution. Maximum efficiency is achieved by the use of a Pure Copper Water Block on the GPU for superior heat conductivity together with a Pure Copper Radiator in the TOXIC cooler for great heat dissipation. Coolant is circulated with a quiet yet powerful 12V mini pump with superb reliability. Air is extracted from the case by an integral low noise transparent blue LED fan, passed through the radiator and vented out of the case at the rear mounting bracket. Two fan speeds give a choice of quieter operation or higher efficiency. (18dBA at 2000RPM, 26dBA at 2500RPM).

OVERCLOCKING WITH A.P.E. (Automated Performance Enhancer)

 - The A.P.E. product concept affords Sapphire the edge in terms of perceived added value
- A.P.E. will serve to identify Sapphire’s commitment to performance oriented users seeking a high end solution. This perception of added performance will filter down across whole product lines and attach itself to the branding.
- Used on High End only
- Overclocking automatically without breaking the ATI rules (No hardware changes or special drivers)
- Customer installs software. Product is delivered without firmware or Driver changes.
- All of these considerations will pay dividends when scrutinized by the press!

Features of the X1950 series architecture include 48 pixel shader processors, 16 pixel processor pipelines and 8 vertex shader processors together with a 512-bit ring-bus based internal memory controller together delivering true DirectX® 9 Shader Model 3.0 compatibility.

Image quality is unrivalled, with 64-bit floating point High Dynamic Range rendering (HDR), blending capability and a new higher quality anisotropic filtering (AF) combined with up to 12x Anti-Aliasing (AA) when used in CrossFire mode. Two DVI outputs are provided on the XTX model and Dual-link DVI is supported with resolutions up to 2650 x 1600. The architecture also supports AvivoTM delivering vibrant high fidelity images and video playback to the latest High definition video standards and is HDTV and HDCP ready.
